A partner hospital in Detroit, MI / Warren, MI is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will hold a DVM degree with experience in urgent care medicine and a passion for providing top-notch care for both canine and feline patients. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in a supportive and relationship-based environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care services to animals, including diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments
Perform surgeries as needed within the scope of urgent care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using cloud-based EMR
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets’ care and treatment plans
Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure the best care for patients
Qualifications:
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
Active license in good standing to practice in Michigan (or ability to obtain a license)
Experience in urgent care medicine
Strong clinical skills, decision-making abilities, and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
