Description
Urgent Vet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our hospitals provide care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each clinic is designed to deliver efficient care and is equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Responsibilities
Provide outstanding patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Assist in handling canine and feline patients, including restraint and sample collection.
Operate and maintain medical equipment and facility cleanliness.
Support team members and communicate effectively with clients.
Ideal Candidate
Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and positive communication skills.
Energetic, with a strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise
Animal handling, patient restraint, and sample collection.
Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, and laboratory analysis.
Facility maintenance and client education.
