Job Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Turf / Plant Health Care Applicator include managing lawn/turf services and plant/tree health care. This involves developing and implementing turf and plant health care programs, maintaining up-to-date certifications/licenses for proper application of fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide quality lawn care services to our clients.
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides to commercial and residential turf, shrubs, trees, and annuals/perennials.
Route work orders effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
Perform daily truck inspections and report any issues.
Load and mix products correctly for applications.
Calibrate spreaders and sprayers to ensure correct application rates.
Assist with maintaining yard inventory of plants, trees, and shrubs with the Yard Manager.
Inspect properties for pests or diseases and report findings to the manager.
Hold all necessary licenses/certifications to meet state regulations for turf application.
Maintain records of chemical applications.
Use company-issued phone to record daily tasks, communicate with management, document issues, and ensure compliance with DOA and DOT regulations.
