Position: Towpath Team Volunteer (Let’s Paint Deep Lock)
Come and join us at Lock 87, Denham Deep Lock on Thursday 2nd July between 10:30 and 14:30, for a satisfying days volunteering. What3words: worm.skins.mouth. The main activity will be weeding and painting Lock 87 Denham Deep Lock. All tools, equipment and a hot drink will be provided, together with expert and friendly support. All under 16’s need to be accompanied by an adult.
This is a great way to meet other local volunteers and spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.
No experience is required, you just need to be willing to get stuck in and get dirty. Please wear old clothes appropriate for the weather conditions (e.g. waterproof jacket, warm layers), water to stay hydrated and sturdy footwear ideally boots or wellies. If possible, please sign up to let us know you plan on coming along.
