Technician (Rides and Adventure), Technical Services – Rainforest Wild Africa
Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks connecting visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, integrating five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties
and Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of amusement ride mechanical, electrical, and control equipment, including adventure play equipment in Rainforest Wild Africa.
Log completion of maintenance inspections, corrective actions, and repairs using maintenance systems such as daily checklists and logbooks.
Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and timely.
Perform troubleshooting and recovery of ride-related faults and adventure systems.
Maintain accountability of tools and equipment and ensure good housekeeping.
Perform other related work as assigned.
Requirements
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance preferred.
Candidates without prior experience but with keen interest in developing technical skills will be considered.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals to carry out work assignments.
Ability to perform shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Able to work at heights.
Basic computer skills (MS Office).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Physically capable of lifting and installing components.
Prior experience in amusement ride maintenance is an advantage.
