Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and patient handling
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
Prepare surgical areas and monitor patients during anesthetic procedures
Collect and prepare lab samples (blood, urine, feces)
Keep treatment and exam areas clean, stocked, and organized
Accurately update patient records using veterinary software
Educate pet owners on treatment plans and aftercare instructions
Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide top-quality patient care
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant
Confidence handling animals of all sizes and temperaments
Knowledge of basic lab work, restraint techniques, and medical terminology
Excellent communication and time-management skills
A team player with a strong work ethic and love for animals
