Job summary
The Technical Support Manager has a critical role in providing high-quality, customer-oriented services while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for initiating business services to attract new customers and improve retention and loyalty to increase the profitability of each existing customer. The Manager is also responsible in designing, implementing, and delivering development programs and training sessions for both clients and employees, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently. In addition, the role provides support services to other functions and resolves complex customer requests while monitoring the overall performance of the Technical Support function.
Main responsibilities
Accountability
Customer Satisfaction & Retention:
- Improves customer retention and maintains customer loyalty.
- Responds to customer needs and provides recommendations for new products/services to increase satisfaction.
- Resolves complex customer requests or complaints efficiently and effectively.
- Executes customer development programs to strengthen customer relationships
Training & Development:
- Provides training sessions to customers on the use of animal-related products and services to improve farm development.
- Designs, implements, and delivers development programs and training sessions for employees.
- Provides orientation and training sessions for new employees within the unit when necessary
Reporting & Analysis:
- Consolidates reports from stakeholders and submits weekly reports on raw material prices.
- Provides local meat price updates for the CIM function for export purposes.
- Reports on feed safety and related quality measures to stakeholders.
Business Development & Promotion:
- Creates targets and goals to guide team members and increase the customer base.
- Promotes Animal Feed products and services to attract new customers.
- Initiates business services to attract new customers and improve the profitability of existing customers.
Operational & Technical Support:
- Provides end-to-end consultation to customers for farm designs and distribution methods.
- Designs and implements improved processes for customer-related development programs to increase efficiency.
- Monitors and analyzes all data to ensure accurate system updates and identifies abnormal activities.
- Participates in occasional client visits to evaluate the efficiency of regular Technical Support Team visits.
- Ensures feed centers are well-maintained and products on shelves are not expired.
Required qualifications
Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine & License to Practice Medicine is MUST
Preferred qualificationsMaster’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, or Business Management
Required experience
- 8+ years in technical support or animal feed/farm operations
- 3+ years in managerial roles
Preferred Experience
- Experience in customer development programs and training
- Exposure to regional or international feed markets
