Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Veterinary Doctor (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) to provide technical support to our poultry feed business. The candidate will work closely with the sales team, poultry farmers, integrators, distributors, and nutritionists to improve bird performance, troubleshoot field issues, and strengthen customer relationships through technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to poultry farmers, distributors, and integrators regarding bird health, management, nutrition, and performance.
Visit commercial poultry farms regularly to diagnose production and health-related issues.
Investigate problems related to FCR, body weight, mortality, feed intake, gut health, feed passage, CRD, wet litter, and disease outbreaks.
Coordinate with the nutrition, quality assurance, and production teams to recommend corrective actions.
Assist the sales team during customer meetings and technical presentations.
Conduct farmer meetings, technical seminars, and training programs.
Monitor field performance and collect production data for analysis.
Prepare detailed farm visit reports with recommendations and follow-up actions.
Support product launches, feed trials, and field demonstrations.
Work with laboratories for sample collection and interpretation of diagnostic reports.
Maintain updated knowledge of poultry diseases, vaccination programs, biosecurity, and industry best practices.
Provide technical inputs for product development and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Mandatory)
M.V.Sc. in Poultry Medicine/Pathology/Nutrition will be an added advantage.
Experience
2–8 years of experience in poultry technical services, veterinary practice, poultry integration, feed industry, or animal health.
Fresh veterinary graduates with strong practical knowledge may also be considered.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of poultry diseases and diagnostics.
Understanding of poultry nutrition and feed formulations.
Ability to analyze flock performance data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Customer relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
