SAM Nutrition is expanding across Latin America, and Colombia is one of our top-priority markets for poultry and swine nutrition. Through our Nexus platform, we bring science-backed, performance-driven feed additive solutions — in trace minerals, enzyme technology, vitamin forms, and antioxidant science — to leading producers and integrators.
We're looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to be the face of Nexus in Colombia: building relationships with integrators, nutritionists, and distributors, and turning our science into measurable results on the farm. This is a senior, high-autonomy individual contributor role — ideal for someone who thrives building a territory from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow relationships with poultry/swine integrators, large-scale producers, nutritionists, and distribution partners
- Manage distributor performance beyond sell-in — sell-through targets, joint business reviews, accountability
- Lead technical positioning of Nexus products with scientific credibility
- Build ROI-based technical presentations and farm economics models
- Represent SAM Nutrition/Nexus at industry events (FENAVI, PorkColombia, AMEVEA, and similar)
- Own regional sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Deliver market intelligence to guide product and go-to-market strategy
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine & Zootechnics, Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural Engineering, or related field (postgraduate degree a plus)
- 5+ years in poultry/swine nutrition, feed additives, or related technical sales
- Proven B2B technical sales experience in the Colombian or LATAM poultry/swine sector
- Track record managing distributors with sell-through accountability and joint business planning
- Ability to sell on value/ROI, not price — with hands-on experience building farm economics models
- Comfortable operating independently in a market-entry or territory-building environment
- Fluent Spanish; professional English strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license; personal vehicle valued for rural field work
- Willingness to travel extensively across Cundinamarca, Santander, Valle del Cauca, Córdoba, Antioquia, and occasionally LATAM
