WaterSprint Limited is hiring for multiple technical positions under the PRIAT Project funded by the World Bank.
1- Groundwater Management Specialist
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Water Resources Management, Groundwater Management, Groundwater Hydrology, Water Engineering & Management, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline with specialization in groundwater management. Ph.D. qualification will be preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in groundwater management, including at least 3 years working on groundwater management within water resources or agricultural development projects.
- Experience in groundwater assessment, aquifer management, groundwater modelling, recharge planning, and sustainable water resource management.
- Strong analytical and technical reporting skills.
2- Irrigation Agronomist
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Water Resources, Irrigation Engineering, or an equivalent field with specialization in Agronomy.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years working on on-farm water management projects.
- Experience in irrigation agronomy, crop water requirements, irrigation scheduling, water productivity, and sustainable agricultural practices.
- Strong understanding of climate-smart agriculture and irrigation management.
3- GIS & Spatial Analysis Specialist
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field (Primarily based in Islamabad).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in GIS, spatial analysis, and geospatial data management.
- Demonstrated expertise in flood risk mapping and disaster management applications.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, and programming languages such as Python and R.
- Experience in satellite imagery processing, remote sensing, and spatial analysis.
- Knowledge of spatial database management and Web GIS technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Pakistan or South Asia will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with social protection programs, international flood risk assessment standards, cloud-based GIS platforms, big data processing, and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) frameworks will be preferred.
4- Agriculture Value Chain Monitoring Specialist
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Business Development, Agricultural Engineering, Total Quality Management, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in agriculture value chain development, monitoring, and agribusiness development.
- Demonstrated experience in agricultural value chain analysis, market systems, value chain monitoring, and agribusiness initiatives.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
5- Agriculture Marketing Expert
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Agricultural Marketing, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, Rural Development, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in agricultural marketing, agribusiness development, value chain development, and market systems.
- Demonstrated experience in market research, agricultural value chains, market linkage development, commodity marketing, and agribusiness promotion.
- Strong understanding of agricultural markets, pricing mechanisms, supply chains, post-harvest management, and market intelligence systems.
- Experience working with farmers, cooperatives, producer organizations, private sector stakeholders, and government institutions.
- Knowledge of domestic and international agricultural trade, export markets, and quality standards will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
