PIC – Philippines, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader who is responsible for cultivating business relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the business by establishing and maintaining long term partnerships with PIC contracted multiplication farm
Researches, identifies and appraises possible supply chain partners, developing those chosen through detailed business proposals. Carries out due diligence on the organizations, ensuring we can work in partnership operationally, financially and ethically
Leads the negotiations in developing supply chain partnerships, developing the structure and terms so it is robust, operationally deliverable and enables both parties to meet their business aims
Supports the partnership between PIC and contract multipliers. This includes partnering with banks/ financial institutions in offering financial assistance to multipliers for various farm related projects and ensuring that both PIC and contract multiplier partners are delivering on their obligations
Oversees development of new projects and supports business startup
Spearheads the collection of outstanding receivables from new contract multipliers
Enforcing contractual obligations of new supply chain partners
Participates in different key account sessions and meetings to ensure alignment of business development initiatives with the regional and local business strategy
Accountable for business development budget and jointly accountable for business results
Other tasks that may be assigned related to contract multiplier and related projects
Qualifications: (required)
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or related field.
Ability to build networks and influence senior stakeholders internally or externally
Strong analysis and negotiation skills
Excellent project management skills
Collaborative and a team player; able to lead people
Willingness to travel and do field work
Speaks English and Filipino fluently
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Network of commercial farms from feeds or pharmaceutical companies an advantage
Knowledge and experience in pig production systems
