About The Role

We are seeking a Support Specialist – Tier I to join our remote technical support team. In this full-time, permanent role, you will respond to incoming customer requests via phone, email, and chat to resolve technical issues, ensure service excellence, and contribute to ongoing customer satisfaction. This position is fully remote for residents of ID, IL, MN, MI, KS, KY, SD, TX, UT, and WI only.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer requests via phone (primarily), email, and chat sessions

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools, software updates, drivers, and knowledge bases

Maintain proficiency with relevant systems and software

Escalate unresolved issues when appropriate, while tracking open incidents

Follow departmental processes and maintain detailed documentation

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers for updates and follow-up

Stay current through required internal training courses

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree

Experience presenting technical concepts in user-friendly language

Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines independently

Team-oriented and able to contribute in fast-paced environments

Effective communication across multiple levels of the organization

Work Schedule

Training: 8AM–5PM CT

Post-training: Core hours are 10AM–7PM CT

Additional shift availability may range between 7AM–9PM CT (no part-time options)

Compensation And Benefits

Starting wage: $17/hour

Compensation range: $15.19 – $18.65/hour depending on location, experience, and skills

Technical Requirements

Reliable, hardwired internet connection (no satellite or mobile hotspot)

Minimum speeds: 10 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload
