Vacancy Details: 40 hours/week – 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Summary of
Duties
and Responsibilities
Performing general grounds and building maintenance, including:
Picking up and removing refuse
Grass cutting
Trimming, planting, watering, digging, raking
Interior work such as moving furniture and minor cleaning tasks
Qualifications
Working towards a degree from an accredited university, diploma from an accredited college, or enrolled in secondary school
Team player with good organization, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
Ability to work outdoors and in adverse environmental conditions
Cooperative and effective working with staff and supervisors
Valid Ontario driver’s license – G1 acceptable
Experience with grass cutting equipment is an asset
Current, Board-approved WHMIS Certificate
Some heavy lifting required, e.g., picnic tables
