High school youth aged 15-16 for outdoor gardening/landscaping work

Likes to work outdoors in nature – not allergic to bees

Learn about the importance of native plants to biodiversity.

Sell native plants at plant sales, plant and maintain gardens and meadows according to landscape designs developed by the supervisor.

Work on childrens school garden programs (oversee games, storybook reading).

Likes to work outdoors in nature – not allergic to bees

Able to get to various worksites around Waltham, Watertown, Newton

Take photos for public relations

Keep a daily diary

Team worker with good decision-making skills, follows directions accurately, meets deadlines, and is willing to learn new things

Hard worker, able to work in soil with gardening tools, and wears appropriate clothes

Able to work during the summer and some fall or spring *
* late spring weekend times, summer 4-5 hours/day, fall weekend positions

College Student ** All the above, plus likes to work with students and serves as a good example.
