Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Nurse role based in Multan. Staff Nurses will provide direct patient care to children in the emergency setting, including triage, assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures as per clinical protocols. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring timely and safe care delivery. Staff Nurses will educate caregivers about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventive health measures. The position requires adherence to infection control practices, participation in quality improvement activities, and support for a collaborative, child-centered care environment.
Qualifications
- Formal nursing education (e.g., Diploma in Nursing, BSN) from an accredited institution and valid nursing registration/license.
- Clinical skills in pediatric assessment, emergency nursing care, medication administration, and basic life support.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, patient safety protocols, and documentation standards in acute care settings.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments, make sound clinical judgments, and manage multiple patients and priorities.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required in a 24/7 emergency care facility.
- Prior experience in pediatric or emergency nursing is preferred; familiarity with public sector hospital settings is an advantage.
