BluePearl NE Portland is seeking a Specialty Team Supervisor! As a Specialty Team Supervisor, you will be working alongside the Technician Manager to:
Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician
Create effective working relationships with other hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon.
Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding patient care, and skill development.
Serve as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits and effective clinical skills.
Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance from Technician Manager & Practice Manager, in resolution to create effective working relationships.
Coach staff to create a culture of strong performance and high productivity.
Communicate with team members to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas, changes in protocol, policies, and impending changes.
Build positive relationships across the hospital to facilitate an environment of teamwork.
Assist with writing and presenting annual reviews
Partner with Technician Manager with recommendations related to performance management and discipline.
Other job duties as assigned
