Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sonologist / Sonographer role based in Awka. The role involves performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts scans, in accordance with clinical protocols. The professional will interpret and document findings clearly, prepare accurate reports for referring clinicians, and ensure that all imaging is completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of ultrasound techniques and equipment.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage patient workflow efficiently.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Ultrasonography, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license/registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Nigeria (e.g., RRBN).
- Previous experience as a Sonologist/Sonographer in a diagnostic center or hospital is preferred.
