Description:
Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services of Mississauga West and Milton is accepting resumes for the upcoming winter season to join our ice and snow team. Be part of the Clintar team in the efficient clearing and de-icing of commercial, institutional, and industrial properties in the west Mississauga and Milton area. We offer safe, well-maintained equipment, experienced leaders and managers, direct deposit. All part-time positions are on-call and dependent upon winter weather.
Shifts will be for accumulating or anticipated snow and ice events, clean up events, or freeze and thaw events. Many shifts are overnight hours. Applicants must be available and committed to work on very short notice, at all times of the day and night, as dictated by the weather and operational response requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be assigned to the crew of a Team Leader, who will direct you in carrying out snow clearing and de-icing Clintar commercial properties. This position may require evening to late night starts, extended hours, weekend, and holiday shifts This position is on call and requires 24/7 availability to respond to weather events at any time of day or night Snow removal experience is a definite asset Operate snow blowers and other hand tools such as shovels to clear snow from paved surfaces Lift and spread 50+ pounds de-icing products Assist team leader in successful completion of assigned tasks as necessary Approximately November to April, dependent on weather.
