Copper Mountain Animal Hospital in sunny Chandler, Arizona is looking for an associate veterinarian to be part of our small animal practice!
We are a privately owned, non-corporate practice equipped with a full range of equipment and diagnostics. Our amazing team allows us to provide the best care for our patients and dedication to our clients. We offer a four-day work week with no after-hours/on-call duty to help maintain a healthy work/life balance, and a strong and supportive atmosphere for better stress management at work.

Responsibilities
- Examine animals and assess their health status
- Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
- Be able to clearly communicate with owners to present treatment options and medical advice
- Perform routine dental and soft tissue surgeries
- Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
- Spay and neuter cats and dogs as needed
- Prescribe medication
- Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
- Update client records
Skills
- Dedication to fulfilling the role of an associate veterinarian in a small animal setting
- Comfort performing complete physical exams as well as various types of surgeries and routine procedures
- General knowledge of diagnostics and interpretation including routine cytology, radiology, and labwork
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language
- Willingness to assist with client and staff education
- Team based practice of medicine and a deep compassion for animals
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year

- Doctorate (Required)
Experience:
