Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues and determine treatment plans.
Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
Perform surgical procedures, including aseptic techniques and animal catheterization when necessary.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using veterinary terminology.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal animal care.
Provide education to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and husbandry practices.
Participate in laboratory work for diagnostics and treatment monitoring.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
Strong knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary practices.
Proficiency in animal handling techniques and experience with various species, including equine.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
