Veterinary Specialist Aotearoa (VSA) is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team in Auckland. We’re open to full-time, part-time, and fixed-term working holiday or secondment options, making this a fantastic opportunity for both local and overseas candidates looking to gain experience in a collaborative, specialist environment.
The Position:
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of four veterinary physiotherapists and two canine hydrotherapists, working alongside our specialist services to provide integrated, patient-centred care. Many of our patients are pre and post operative surgical cases or geriatric and long-term cases, and we see physiotherapy as a non-negotiable component of their recovery and well-being – a philosophy shared and supported by our clinical teams.

Requirements of the role:
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled physiotherapist who brings the following:
A clear understanding of the role of physiotherapy within a multidisciplinary veterinary team
Highly developed assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment skills
Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent administrative and record-keeping capabilities
A natural problem-solver with a proactive approach
Eligible for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (BHSc or BSc Physiotherapy)
A Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy (or Animal Physiotherapy)
Internship options available for those seeking to build experience post-study
