Skid Steer Operator – Horticultural Crew Jobs in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada at Oakridge Landscape Contractors
Location: Hannon, Ontario.
Pay:
$20-24 per hour.
Benefits after 3 months.
Company matching RRSP after one year.
Job Duties:
Operate skid steer on horticultural projects, assisting with tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
Load and transport materials to and from job sites, including soil, mulch, stone, and debris.
Assist in various landscape construction projects, including grading, leveling, and preparing sites for planting or hardscape installations.
Ensure equipment is properly fuelled, maintained, and in good working order at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and material are securely stored on-site.
Work closely with the crew to complete daily tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Follow safety guidelines and ensure the proper operation of equipment at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreperson, including assisting with landscaping tasks when needed.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s license with a good driver’s abstract.
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach to equipment operation.
Experience in landscaping or construction is an asset.
Experience operating a skid steer.
