Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities on a utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plant. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating both civil and electrical works across the site — from earthworks and foundations through to module installation, DC/AC electrical works, and pre-commissioning support. You will lead direct crews and subcontractors, drive quality and productivity, and keep works aligned with the project schedule, drawings, and specifications. This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone comfortable moving between civil and electrical disciplines on a fast-paced, large-footprint construction site.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise daily civil and electrical construction activities, coordinating direct-hire crews and subcontractors to meet daily and weekly targets on schedule.
· Interpret construction drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications, communicating work requirements clearly to crews and conducting daily site briefings.
· Oversee civil works including earthworks, grading, access roads, drainage, trenching, and foundation installation.
· Supervise installation of mounting structures and PV modules, ensuring positional accuracy against survey control.
· Oversee DC works including stringing, cable management, combiner boxes, and string connections.
· Supervise AC and MV works including inverter installation, cabling, terminations, earthing/grounding systems, and transformer/skid placement, and support cable testing and pre-commissioning activities.
· Conduct quality inspections, record daily progress, and report delays, risks, or resource shortfalls to the Construction Manager.

Essential Requirements
· Engineering or construction management degree (or equivalent experience).
· 5+ years in construction supervision, including at least one utility-scale solar PV project (>20 MWp) delivered start to finish.
· Zambian national
· Track record of assembling and leading multidisciplinary site teams of 50+ personnel.
· Fluent English; medically fit for remote site work.
