ROLE IMPACT

QC laboratory role within the Omnia Group, responsible for all fertilizer production quality control, but not limited to Omnia fertilizer, other divisions that uses the laboratory, Protea, BME. As from 2019 the QC laboratory is performing analyses for external clients. The lab has been adding more analysis and different methods, currently standing on 567 methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • The shift analyst responsibilities are to analyses samples accurately that the production facilities can ensure the products they supply to clients adhere to legal specification.
  • 520 different methods are performed by shift analyst to adhere to requirements of the production facilities.
  • Per month a shift analyst is required to be able to report 9000 analyses, while performing these analyses in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric (Maths and Science)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience in a Quality control Laboratory, of which is working with fertilizer products or related chemicals.
  • Labware LIMS experience
