For our client, we are seeking a Senior Scientist Global Regulatory Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $118,000 – $197,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Guide the design and development of global regulatory strategies for veterinary product projects
- Serve as the regulatory subject matter expert, providing risk/benefit evaluations for project strategies
- Lead engagements with regulatory agencies such as CVM and EMA, including negotiations
- Work with R&D to implement clinical trial submission plans aligned with regulatory strategies
- Provide technical leadership on Quality, Safety, and Efficacy sections of submissions
- Identify and communicate project-specific regulatory risks and opportunities to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in veterinary medicine, biology, infectious diseases, immunology, animal science, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in the animal health industry with direct regulatory affairs experience in veterinary pharmaceuticals
- Proven track record of leading submissions and negotiations with regulatory agencies, particularly the CVM
- Ability to act as the primary regulatory expert on cross-functional teams globally with strong communication and influencing skills
