Our client is a small
multidisciplinary
consultancy made up of Ecologists and Landscape Architects. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their professional team based out of their Shropshire based office. which is vital for long-term viability.
Some of their ecology services include Biodiversity Net Gain- assessment, design and monitoring, Protected species surveys, licencing, mitigation and monitoring, ECoW, Botanical and habitat surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments and Preliminary Ecological Appraisals
SENIOR ECOLOGIST KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* A degree in ecology or closely related subject
* Minimum 4 years’ experience
* CIEEM Membership
* At least 1 protected species licence
* Knowledge and experience of Biodiversity Net Gain and using the statutory metric
* Excellent report writing and presentation skills
* Experience and knowledge of using a range of software, including QGIS
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
