Role Description The Security Guard role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi Division. The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting regular patrols to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, and safety hazards. Daily tasks include checking identification, maintaining visitor and incident logs, inspecting doors, gates, and equipment, and responding promptly to alarms or suspicious activity. The role also involves assisting visitors and staff with directions, basic information, and support during emergencies, while following established security protocols. Security Guards are expected to work assigned shifts, adhere to company policies, and coordinate with supervisors and local authorities when necessary.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Physical Security and Private Security skills for effective protection of people, property, and assets.
- Candidates should possess Personnel Security skills to manage access control, identity verification, and adherence to security procedures.
- Candidates should possess Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service skills to interact respectfully with staff, visitors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to remain alert and calm under pressure, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Basic literacy and record-keeping skills to maintain logs and complete incident reports accurately.
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
