Position: Â Seasonal Park Ranger (Temporary Full-Time)
Seasonal Full-Time Opportunity – 3 positions
Target Hiring Range: $26.23 – $31.48 (DOQ)
Requires a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
Performs administrative support work in a variety of recreation activities, programs, events, facility needs, and routine enforcement of park rules and regulations, and related work as apparent or assigned. Works a varied schedule to include days, evenings and weekends. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Parks and Public Facilities Supervisor (“supervisor”).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Valid driver’s license.
* First Aid/CPR Card.
EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
* Prior Park Ranger experience.
* Ability to complete tasks with minimal on-site supervision.
* Experience working in an outdoor environment with extreme temperatures (hot/cold) and wind.
* Ability to work late evening shifts.
* Prior experience with policy enforcement.
Selection will be based on overall qualifications, skills testing (if applicable) and an interview process. Final candidate(s) selected will be subject to a comprehensive background/reference check, provide a current driving record, and pre-employment physical commensurate to the position.
