Part-Time Seasonal Inventory Assistant
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a part-time seasonal role? Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) is seeking a Seasonal Inventory Assistant to support our Inventory Team in keeping our hospital fully stocked and operational.
Location: Buzzards Bay, MA
Seasonal Position: May – September
Schedule: 12-16 hours per week (Tues, Wed, Fri)
Pay rate: starting at $17/hr
No animal care or interaction
About The Role
As an Inventory Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our medical teams have the supplies they need to provide lifesaving care. Working closely with our Inventory Team, you’ll help manage stock, inspect shipments, and keep inventory organized. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and maintaining order behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unpack, and distribute incoming shipments
Verify shipments for accuracy and inspect for damages
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the stockroom
General housekeeping tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma (or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Basic computer and math skills
Professional, organized, and a team player
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate physical labor
Schedule & Training
Training Schedule: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
After Training: Tues, Wed, and Fri on the afternoon/evening shifts- this will be determined with the inventory manager
