Part-time Seasonal Grounds Maintenance-Recreation Department
The Town of Thomaston Recreation Department seeks part-time (15-25 hours per week) seasonal grounds maintenance to assist in general sports field care.
Staff performs regular and directed grounds and landscape maintenance by mowing fields with riding or push mowers; trimming and edging around trees, shrubs, ground cover, and buildings; sports field setup and maintenance; utilizing proper hand or powertools and equipment. May require some minor repair work that includes carpentry and painting of outbuildings and related structures.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
Knowledge of sports field maintenance preferred.
Possess a valid Driver’s License.
Successfully complete a background check.
