To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Scientific Product Manager Flavors (m/f/d). In this international role, you will combine scientific expertise with product strategy, technical consulting, and market development. Acting as a key link between R&D, Sales, customers, and the market, you will play an important role in driving the success of our flavor portfolio worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
Product Management & Market Positioning
- Develop the technical positioning of existing and new flavor products
- Analyze competitive products and collect comparative technical data
- Create technical marketing concepts and value propositions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of product area strategies
Technical Consulting & Business Support
- Provide scientific and technical support to customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders
- Support technical sales activities and customer projects
- Deliver product-focused training sessions and workshops
Research & Product Development
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate product trials
- Support the development of new product concepts and applications
- Translate scientific findings into practical product and market recommendations
Scientific Communication
- Prepare and maintain technical product documentation, specifications, and related materials
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all product information
- Deliver scientific presentations at customer events, conferences, and industry meetings
- Prepare scientific publications and technical articles
Your profile:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Animal Nutrition, or a comparable scientific discipline
- Experience within the feed, animal nutrition, or related industry is desirable
- Previous exposure to feed flavors, palatability solutions, or sensory feed additives is an advantage
- Strong scientific mindset combined with commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of self-organization, initiative, and ownership
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
