Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Room Attendant role based at Royal Inn Hotel in Karāchi. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to high standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. The role includes handling laundry tasks such as collecting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels, and ensuring they are properly stored and ready for use. The Room Attendant will inspect rooms and equipment for cleanliness and proper functioning, report maintenance issues, and follow safety and hygiene procedures. This role also involves interacting professionally with guests, responding to requests, and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for all guests.
Qualifications
- Strong housekeeping skills, including the ability to clean rooms efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Experience with laundry operations, including handling, washing, drying, and organizing linens and guest laundry.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow hotel procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift; prior hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills; ability to understand written instructions and complete checklists.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
