Birmingham Animal Hospital + Resort is looking for a caring, reliable, and hard-working Resort Technician to join our team!
We are a full-service veterinary hospital and luxury pet resort dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients and guests. Our Resort Technicians play a vital role in the comfort, safety, and happiness of pets during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Care for boarding dogs and cats by feeding, walking, cleaning, and enriching their stay
Monitor pets for any signs of illness or stress and report concerns to medical staff
Ensure all resort areas are clean, sanitized, and well-organized
Provide exceptional customer service during drop-off and pick-up interactions
Assist with bathing, nail trims, and basic grooming if needed
Work collaboratively with the medical and reception teams to ensure seamless care
What We’re Looking For:
Previous animal handling experience (kennel tech, vet assistant, or shelter experience a plus!)
Passion for animal care and a strong work ethic
Ability to work weekends and holidays (rotating schedule)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment
