Rakai Health Sciences Program (RHSP) is seeking motivated Research Assistants to support community-based research activities in Kalisizo. The successful candidates will recruit study participants, obtain informed consent, conduct interviews, provide health education and HIV counselling support, collect biological specimens, and ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data collection in accordance with approved research protocols and ethical standards.
Working closely with field supervisors and research teams, the Research Assistants will conduct community follow-up visits, maintain participant confidentiality, support biosafety and infection prevention procedures, manage study documentation, and contribute to the successful implementation of research studies across Rakai and Kyotera districts. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, computer literacy, fluency in Luganda, and a willingness to work extensively in community settings.
