What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Share feedback on course content and implement curriculum updates for hybrid programs
Teach Veterinary Assistant foundational courses online and provide timely feedback to students
Monitor student success and retention, addressing academic concerns proactively
Conduct synchronous meetings to assist and advise students, ensuring effective communication
Organize regular faculty meetings to maintain accreditation compliance and enhance collaboration
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Associate degree from an AVMA CVTEA accredited program
Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience as a Veterinary Technician
Minimum of three (3) years of online teaching experience
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a Veterinary Assistant/Technician program
Active license, certification, or designation required to work in the veterinary field
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
