Al Dahra is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Manager, Regulatory and Customer Quality Liaison to act as the key interface between Al Dahra, ADAFSA (Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority), government regulators, and customers on all matters related to product quality and compliance. This role will focus on quality assurance across the animal nutrition value chain, ensuring alfalfa and forage products meet regulatory and customer expectations from farm to port.
The ideal candidate will have a background in veterinary science or animal nutrition, with fluency in Arabic and English, and experience managing government-facing technical quality concerns in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Liaison and Compliance
Serve as the principal liaison with ADAFSA, local government bodies, and regulatory agencies for all technical and quality-related issues.
Investigate, document, and resolve quality complaints from ADAFSA and other regulatory authorities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE and international regulatory standards for animal feed and forage products.
Act as a signatory authority for product certification and regulatory documentation.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal leadership and government entities.
Customer Quality Management
Lead resolution of customer technical complaints relating to forage and feed quality.
Conduct customer and supplier site visits to support quality alignment and issue resolution.
Provide technical briefings and training to internal teams, distributors, and end users—particularly in the dairy farming segment.
Quality Assurance Oversight
Support sampling and testing of feed and forage products at ports, farms, and processing facilities.
Collaborate with internal quality, agronomy, and logistics teams to ensure consistent product standards.
Ensure adherence to GMP+, ISO 22000, and other applicable certification schemes.
Oversee QA protocols with external testing laboratories and ensure accurate results and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Veterinary Science, Animal Nutrition, or a closely related field.
Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in quality assurance, animal nutrition, veterinary services, or feed/forage production.
Demonstrated interaction with ADAFSA or other UAE-based regulatory bodies.
Strong technical knowledge of alfalfa, forage, and livestock feed for dairy farm applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
Prior experience in a multinational agribusiness or feed/forage company.
Familiarity with UAE import/export regulations, customs processes, and quality control at ports.
Understanding of farm-level feed application, livestock nutrition, and animal welfare best practices.
