  • Applications are invited on an urgent basis for the position of Registrar, Dept of Gynae and Obs, in IAHS on the following terms and conditions:

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services to the respective department.
  • Diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform medical procedures and interventions as required, including but not limited to injections, wound care, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions to stabilise patients as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  • Conduct lectures for MBBS students as per the academic schedule.
  • Participate in regular ward rounds and supervise patient admissions.
  • Take clinical items and assist in the completion of students’ cards.
  • Conduct evening classes for MBBS students and medical internees.
  • Conduct regular phase-wise classes, including evening ward classes and clinical sessions as per the approved schedule.
  • Prepare and maintain updated lecture timetables and ward/class schedules.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, clinical outcomes, and overall healthcare delivery within the Dept.
  • Engage in peer review, case presentations, and other activities to promote clinical excellence and knowledge sharing among colleagues.
