Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, a team player who loves pets, and enjoys working in a supportive, fun environment.
The purpose of this role is to enhance patient care by assisting veterinarians with various tasks, including monitoring hospitalized pets, maintaining inventory, preparing prescriptions, performing routine lab work, educating clients, and assisting in surgical procedures.
The Technician will conduct patient assessments, anesthetize patients, perform treatments, and communicate effectively with veterinarians, staff, and clients to ensure high standards of care.
Our Technicians are friendly, flexible, capable of multitasking, and able to respond calmly to emergencies, leading others when necessary. They believe in providing high-quality care and conveying this assurance to clients, understanding veterinary services, and promoting a positive work environment.
Physical requirements include the ability to withstand odors and noises and exposure to animal waste, bites, scratches, and contagious diseases.
Reporting Structure
The Technician reports directly to the Lead Technician and/or Practice Manager and may receive daily guidance from veterinarians.
