REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN (RVT)
Location: Fair Oaks, CA
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm
Compensation: $28–$35/hour, depending on experience
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated RVT to join our brand-new, independently owned veterinary hospital in Fair Oaks, CA. This is a unique opportunity to bring your experience and ideas into a positive, startup environment where your voice matters and your skills will be fully utilized.
You’ll be an essential part of our team—supporting surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client communication—while helping shape the protocols and culture of a hospital built on gold-standard medicine, collaboration, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced dental procedures: cleaning, nerve blocks, extractions, radiographs
Support surgeries: IV catheter placement, anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Provide diagnostics and treatments: blood draws, injections, x-rays
Calculate and administer medications and CRIs accurately
Contribute to treatment protocols and workflow optimization
Help manage inventory and ordering
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Mentor and train veterinary assistants
Assist with reception as needed
Assist with general hospital operations and maintenance as needed
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
Current California RVT license
2+ years of experience as an RVT
Proficiency in dental procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Customer service or client-facing experience
Leadership or mentorship experience
