Registered Veterinary Technician – RVT
$26-30 Hourly Pay- Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Obtain patient history and vitals
Perform venipuncture and all laboratory procedures including hematology, serology, blood chemistry, urinalysis, fecal analysis, and skin/ear cytology
IV catheter placement and care for hospitalized or recovering surgical patients
Administer anesthesia: induction, maintenance, and recovery of surgery patients
Assist the veterinarian in surgical procedures
Perform or assist with diagnostic testing/radiography
Provide comprehensive client education in person and on the phone
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician with active state license, or student of an accredited Veterinary Technology program
Superior written and oral communication skills
Strong people skills – empathy, personality, humor, warmth, kindness, listening skills
A ‘no task is too small’ attitude and the endurance to consistently deliver amazing customer experiences
Team player who works well with a wide range of personalities
Flexible working hours, as your schedule will be based on business needs
Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet most of the day
