Quail Animal Hospital is looking for an RVT to join our privately owned small animal practice. We are an established, independent hospital with a modern facility, experienced doctors, and a team-oriented approach to veterinary medicine.

The Position
We are seeking an experienced RVT who is confident in their technical skills, communicates well with clients, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, compassionate, and able to remain focused in a busy clinical environment. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and genuinely cares about both patients and their families.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing high-quality care to patients
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations and medical procedures
- Anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery
- Surgical preparation, monitoring, and assisting
- Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing
- Radiology and other diagnostic procedures
- Medication preparation and administration
- Patient monitoring and treatment
- Client communication and education
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
- Assisting with the daily workflow of the hospital
- Working collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and client service team members
What We’re Looking For
- Current California RVT license
- At least 2 years of recent RVT experience
- Strong patient-care and technical skills
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a busy hospital
- Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team member
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach
- Comfortable learning and using computer-based medical records and practice-management software
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with veterinary nursing, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting with patient restraint and movement
