We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our close-knit team. The RVT will play a vital role in assisting our veterinarians, ensuring the well-being of our patients, and providing exceptional care to our clients. The ideal candidate is dedicated, detail-oriented, and exhibitsstrongcommunicationskills.

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and various medical procedures.

Perform laboratory tests, including bloodwork, urinalysis, and cytology, and accurately record and interpret results.

Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.

Monitor and care for hospitalized patients, including administering fluids and medications.

Maintain accurate and organized medical records in compliance with regulations.

Educate clients on pet care, medication administration, and post-treatment instructions.

Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.

Collaborate effectively with the veterinary team and contribute to apositive work environment.

Qualifications:

Valid and current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting.

Proficiency in performing various technical tasks, including venipuncture, catheter placement, and radiology.

Strong knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and medical terminology.

Exceptionalcommunication skills, both with clients and fellow team members.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in afast-paced environment.
