– Daytime Registered Veterinary Technician: Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday
***Qualified candidates will need to present current Missouri Licensure***

The Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery Center is a privately & locally owned/operated orthopedic specialty practice located in Wentzville, Missouri. We are currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Technicians for our overnight team. The ideal candidate is dedicated, engaged, dependable, and exhibits a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Primary Responsibilities May Include:
– Obtaining medical history from clients and assisting veterinarians during examinations
– Running basic laboratory tests/submission of outside tests
– Obtaining radiographs
– Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and surgical suites
– Inducing, monitoring, and recovery of anesthesia/sedated patients
– Safely restrain and handle patients
– Maintenance of patient records/treatment sheet
– Client communication and patient follow-up
– Preoperative and Postpoerative patient care including but not limited to: placement of IV catheters, administration of IV, IM, SQ and PO medications, IV fluid/CRI administration
