Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated RVT to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality care to the cats in our care.
Responsibilities
– Provide compassionate animal care.
– Support critical care efforts as needed
– Handle animals with care and attention to their well-being
– Utilize knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology in daily tasks
– Maintain animal husbandry standards within the facility
– Demonstrate proficiency in animal restraint techniques
– Assist with pet grooming tasks when required
Requirements
_ Current RVT licensing
– Previous experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician is preferred
– Proficiency in animal handling techniques and medical procedures
– Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and behavior
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work efficiently under pressure
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and veterinary practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 per week
