We are looking to add an experienced full-time RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) to our team. Applicants must have at least 3 years prior RVT experience in a small animal vet practice to be considered for this position.
Kittel Family Veterinary Practice has been open since 2010. Our single-doctor practice is family owned & operated. We see dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pocket pets. We are closed weekends and all major holidays. We practice a high standard of care and great client communication. We believe in individualized patient care and empowering our entire team to meet the needs of our patients and clients.
Basic skills required for this position include patient restraint; SQ, IM, and IV injections; blood draws; IV catheter placement; filling prescriptions; exam room assistance; dental cleaning, x-rays, & extractions; digital x-ray; surgery monitoring and assistance; pre-op and post-op patient care; drug calculations.
The work schedule will be 8 hour days, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
