An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice in Gillingham Vets for Pets for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
The surgery is purpose-built and fully equipped, allowing excellent clinical care to be achieved. You would be joining a team of 3 Vets, 3 nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, 1 Practice Manager, and 6 Client Care Advisors.
By joining us, you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential by admitting patients, discharging patients, monitoring anaesthetics, monitoring recovery and nursing care of in-patients, running nurse clinics, taking radiographs, and assisting with surgery and diagnostic tests. Assistance from VCAs and an SVN with turning around theatre and patient prep will be provided.
To apply , you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills; be cheerful, down-to-earth, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
This is a Part-Time role working 24 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, and working 1 in 4 Saturdays.
