Are you a qualified RVN looking for a new challenge? Quinton Vets for Pets have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.

Position Details

Full-Time role working 40 hours per week, including working 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am to 2pm) between Quinton Vets for Pets and Selly Oak Vets for Pets. Our teams move between the two practices.

About Us

We are a busy small animal practice with many insured pets and some exotics. We are based just on the outskirts of Edgbaston, Birmingham. We do in house Orthopaedic surgery and complex soft tissue surgeries. We have a very mixed experienced team including a Vet who is a Certificate Holder in Soft Tissue Surgery and other vets working on other certificates which brings a varied case load.

We also have nurses who are currently completing certificates in Surgery and other areas as we encourage our nurses to fulfil their aspirations. We also work alongside some amazing student nurses.

About You

If you are newly qualified or an experienced RVN we would love to hear from you! To apply you will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.

Responsibilities

In return, by joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential: admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovering and discharging patients.
