A partner hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Regional Support Veterinarian to join their team in the Southwest Florida region . This full-time, clinical position offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple practice locations, blending clinical practice with mentorship and leadership in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Support Veterinarian , you will:
Provide full clinical duties, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions in small animals.
Travel to various hospitals within the Southwest Florida region, offering hands-on support to a variety of teams and patients.
Mentor and collaborate with veterinary teams, promoting a culture of growth, continuous learning, and excellence in patient care.
Adapt treatment plans and communication to the unique needs of each hospital’s team and clientele.
Foster a positive environment for both staff and clients, ensuring top-notch care and client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Possess a valid veterinary license in good standing, or be able to obtain one in the state of Florida.
Demonstrate a compassionate, adaptable, and empathetic approach to both patient care and team collaboration.
Have leadership or mentorship experience, or the desire to develop these skills in a support role.
Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse teams and clients.
Be highly organized, resilient, and adaptable, with strong time management skills to thrive in a traveling, multi-hospital role.
