A growing veterinary organization is seeking an experienced Regional Support Veterinarian to join its team. This full-time, salaried role involves providing clinical support across multiple veterinary practices in the Southwest Florida region. The position offers the chance to mentor and collaborate with diverse teams, as well as travel locally each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on clinical care across multiple hospital locations.
Adapt seamlessly to different practice environments, working with various teams.
Demonstrate empathy and flexibility, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each hospital’s team and clientele.
Lead with a positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability in a variety of situations.
Foster the development of veterinary staff through mentorship and collaboration.
Travel locally to support practices each week.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Ability to obtain or currently hold an active veterinary license in good standing in the relevant states.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to delegate effectively and work well with diverse teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make sound, collaborative decisions.
Strong time management skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.
