As a Receptionist you will:
Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling, updating, etc.
Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records, i.e., immunization records, medical concerns where necessary, etc.
Assist all clients by providing necessary instructions, information, and invoices.
Utilize resort computer systems to thoroughly document check-in/check-out for pets and any specific instructions or observations associated with the pet.
Manage the financial needs of the resort by maintaining accurate balances through collection of client transactions, following all cash and credit card handling procedures, and following proper opening and closing procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients.
Maintain a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, pets, and teammates.
Show empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion and respect.
Utilize standard office/business equipment.
Work a flexible schedule, including some weekend and holiday shifts.
Experience with kennel software is preferred.
Work independently and accept direction on tasks.
Possess organizational skills.
Apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions or approaches.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, use good judgment, and manage stressful situations.
Compensation ranges from $11.00 to $12.00/hour based on experience.
